Fleur de Lis abtract Painting by Linda Paul

Artist Inspiration:  I am very frustrated by the disaster in the Gulf  so I have started a new series of abstract paintings to express my feelings as well as my hope and solidarity with everyone impacted by this tragedy .   My concept for this artwork is to create order from chaos.

My usual style in my egg tempera paintings is one of much more detail and grace, but I find myself not able to have patience with fine lines in  hard times.  I hope you like my painting.
